Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata 2026 is one of India’s most prestigious road-running events and a highlight of the Indian running calendar.

The 11th edition of this race will be held on Sunday, 20 December 2026, in Kolkata, West Bengal. Organized by Procam International, the event combines elite-level road racing with mass participation, community running and a strong philanthropic cause.

The race is particularly significant as the Tata Steel World 25K holds ‘Gold Label’ road race status from World Athletics. The 2026 edition is also included in the World Athletics calendar as a Gold-level race, making it one of India’s most internationally recognized road races.

Missed the normal registration window for Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata 2026?

Those runners who wish to participate in TSW25K but are unable to do so because of closure of run registration, can run through Charity bib.

Charity Bib route is specifically intended for people who missed the normal race-registration window.

Charity Bibs provide guaranteed participation after general registration closes, provided the race rules are met and a bib in the desired category remains available.

Step-by-step Procedure to Register for TSW25K 2026 through Charity Bib

1. Go to the official Charity Bib page: You can purchase a Charity Bib through one of its participating NGOs: https://tsw25k.impact360.org.in/charity-bib/
2. Fill in the Charity Bib enquiry form: You will need to provide: Name, Email, Mobile Number, Select a charity/NGO to fundraise for and Select the 25K bib type.
3. Contact the NGO immediately: After selecting an NGO, contact them directly or wait for them to get in touch with you. Confirm specifically that they have a 25K Charity Bib available.
4. Make the charity payment: Donation can be made: Online or Offline via NEFT / cheque / DD
5. Receive your Charity Bib code: After the charity payment is processed, Impact360 will email a voucher code to the you and this code will allow you to proceed to the actual race registration. Note: Charity Bib donation therefore gets you the special entry/voucher but you still have to complete the actual race-registration process.
6. Complete the registration on the official Procam website: Use the Charity Bib code to proceed with the official Tata Steel World 25K registration through Procam.
7. Pay the separate Procam registration fee: You can complete the Procam registration and pay the applicable 25K registration fee (₹2,500) separately.

💰 Total amount = Charity donation + ₹2,500 race registration fee

Charity Bib donation price is dynamic and depends on the number of bibs available and allocation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Charity Bib page does not mean that every charity necessarily has a 25K bib available. Availability depends on the NGO and the number of remaining charity bibs.

2. Log in using your email address and OTP.
3. Fill in your personal details such as name, DoB, number, address, T-shirt size etc.
4. Select your race category as 25Km
5. Upload your timing certificate details.
   • Only certified on-ground 10K, Half Marathon, 25K or Full Marathon events are accepted.
   • The certificate must show your Net (Chip) Time.
6. Review your application and verify all details.
7. Pay the registration fee of Rs 2,500 online using the available payment options.
8. Submit your application.
9. Wait for confirmation.
   • Your application and timing certificate will be verified.
   • If approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email and your race entry will be confirmed.

No, Entry to the Tata Steel 25K race category is only against a timing certificate, except limited places under Charity running places.

Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata Confirmation Criteria

Entry to the 25K race category is only against a timing certificate, except limited places under Charity running places, as elaborated below. You must have fulfilled the requirements mentioned below, under each criterion, to apply for the 25K category.

The running event must have been conducted on or after 1st December 2024.

Timings of only marathon (42.195 km), 25 km distance, half marathon (21.097 km) and Open 10K distances conducted at an on-ground event will be considered to qualify for the 25K race category. Timing cut-off to apply for the 25K category are:

Applicants can submit timing certificates of only those events wherein Race promoters/organizers need to follow the below-mentioned guidelines, for timing certificates of their races to be considered under the confirmation criteria.

1. The running event must have been conducted on or after 1st December 2024.
2. The course must be measured and certified by an AIMS / World Athletics accredited measurer (Grade A or Grade B) using the calibrated bicycle method (Jones Counter or equivalent), in accordance with the standards prescribed in the AIMS / World Athletics publication “The Measurement of Road Race Courses”.
3. All runners must be compulsorily timed using RFID technology.
4. In addition to timing mats at the Start and Finish gates, the following minimum split timing mats are mandatory:
   • Full Marathon (42.195 km) – Minimum 3 split-point mats
   • 25 km – Minimum 2 split-point mats
   • Half Marathon (21.097 km) – Minimum 2 split-point mats
   • 10 km – Minimum 1 split-point mat

Applicants will get their confirmation within 10 working days of registration.

Applicants who had applied for and got confirmed in the 25K race category will get allotted start waves for race day (20th December 2026) based on the finish timings mentioned on respective timing certificates submitted at the time of application.

Where submitting a finish time of 10 km distance

• Start Wave A: Finish time up to 00:45:26
• Start Wave B: Finish time from 00:45:27 to 00:56:48
• Start Wave C: Finish time from 00:56:49 to 01:08:09
• Start Wave D: Finish time from 01:08:10 onwards and Charity running places without a timing certificate.

Where submitting a finish time of Half-Marathon (21.097 km) distance

• Start Wave A: Finish time up to 01:40:14
• Start Wave B: Finish time from 01:40:15 to 02:05:18
• Start Wave C: Finish time from 02:05:19 to 02:30:21
• Start Wave D: Finish time from 02:30:22 onwards and Charity running places without a timing certificate.

Where submitting a finish time of 25K distance:

• Start Wave A: Finish time up to 02:00:00
• Start Wave B: Finish time from 02:00:01 to 02:30:00
• Start Wave C: Finish time from 02:30:01 to 03:00:00
• Start Wave D: Finish time from 03:00:01 onwards and Charity running places without a timing certificate.

Where submitting a finish time of Marathon (42.195 km) Distance

• Start Wave A: Finish time up to 03:28:59
• Start Wave B: Finish time from 03:29:00 to 04:21:14
• Start Wave C: Finish time from 04:21:15 to 05:13:29
• Start Wave D: Finish time from 05:13:30 onwards and Charity running places without a timing certificate.

Confirmed applicants improving their timing performance post submission of application can request for changing the Start Wave only till 20th November 2026, valid timing certificate needs to be provided for this on email: tsw25k@procam.in

No change of Start Wave requests will be accepted at the 20th November 2026.

Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata Baggage Facility

25K participants who wish to avail of the baggage deposit facility on race day must opt for the baggage tag service either during registration or later through their participant profile.

• Please note that baggage tags are available in limited numbers and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Participants who have successfully opted for the baggage facility must collect the official baggage tag issued by Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL) at the Expo.
• The bag tag must be securely attached to the bag on race day, and the corresponding claim stub must be retained for baggage collection. Bags without a valid official baggage tag will not be accepted at the baggage deposit counters.
• A refundable security deposit of INR 500 per baggage tag will be charged at the time of opting for the service. The deposit will be refunded within 15 working days after race day.

Can I transfer my tata steel 25K kolkata bib to somebody else or somebody else can run on my bib?

No, it cannot be transferred to somebody else. Race day images of participants will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participants is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event.

Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata 2026 Bib Collection Details

In order to collect the running number bib from the PLAYSCAPE – Tata Steel World 25K (TSW25K) 2026 Expo from Friday, 18th December to Saturday, 19th December 2026, participants will need to choose their bib collection time slots.

Confirmed 25K participants will be requested to share their Race Day T-shirt size during their application confirmation process via email/WhatsApp.
