Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2027 is India’s most prestigious marathon and one of asia’s largest road-running events.
Since its inaugural edition in 2004, the race has transformed India’s distance running culture by inspiring millions of people to adopt running as a lifestyle.

2️⃣ Choose a Cause ❤️
Select a cause that you would like to support. United Way Mumbai allows fundraisers to explore participating NGOs based on their cause and then select an NGO to support.
3️⃣ Select an NGO 🤝
Choose the NGO you want to raise funds for. Your fundraising page will be associated with the NGO you select, allowing your friends, family, colleagues and other supporters to contribute towards that cause.
4️⃣ Create Your Fundraising Page 📋
Set up your personal fundraising page by providing your personal details. Your personal fundraising page becomes the link that you can share with potential donors.
5️⃣ Start Fundraising 💰
Now share your fundraising page with your friends, family etc and ask people to contribute to the cause you’re supporting. The funds raised through the official UWM TMM platform are disbursed to the verified NGO selected by the fundraiser.
6️⃣ Reach the Fundraising Requirement 🎯
There are multiple ways to qualify for a TMM 2027 running place through individual fundraising.
🏆 Change Runner: Raise ₹2,00,000 from at least 5 donors by the applicable deadline to become a Change Runner. Change Runners receive a complimentary running bib, subject to race eligibility and availability.
🐦 Early Bird Fundraiser: The first 200 fundraisers in each race category who raise at least ₹10,000 from a minimum of 5 donations can become eligible for a bib in their preferred category, subject to the applicable category limits and race eligibility criteria.
🏅 Top Fundraiser: The top 500 fundraisers in each race category, including Early Bird fundraisers and Change Runners, who raise at least ₹10,000 from at least 5 donations can become eligible for a bib in their preferred race category, subject to eligibility and availability. Higher fundraising amounts receive preference in bib allocation.
7️⃣ Meet the Race Timing Criteria ⏱️
Fundraising does not remove the timing requirement for these categories. For the Marathon category, the applicable Marathon qualification criteria continue to apply.
8️⃣ Qualify for Your Charity Running Place 🏃♂️
Once you satisfy the applicable fundraising requirements, United Way Mumbai will determine your eligibility for a running place.
9️⃣ Receive Your Unique Registration Code 🔑
If you qualify and a slot is available, United Way Mumbai will provide you with a unique registration code. This code allows you to proceed with your official Tata Mumbai Marathon registration through the Procam website.
🔟 Complete Your Official TMM Registration 📝
Use the unique code received from United Way Mumbai to register on the official Tata Mumbai Marathon website. You will need to complete the required participant details and fulfil all applicable registration and eligibility requirements.
⚠️ Important: Fundraising eligibility does not automatically guarantee a bib. Running places are limited and subject to availability, applicable timing criteria and successful completion of the official TMM registration process.

Step-by-Step Registration Process for Tata Mumbai Marathon 2027
- Visit the official registration portal.
- Create an account or log in using your email address.
- Fill in your personal details such as name, DoB, number, address, T-shirt size etc.
- Select your race category as Marathon (42.195Km)
- Upload your timing certificate details.
- Only certified on-ground Half Marathon, 25K, or Full Marathon events are accepted.
- The certificate must show your Net (Chip) Time.
- Review your application and verify all details.
- Pay the registration fee using the available online payment options.
- Submit your application.
- Wait for confirmation.
- Your application and timing certificate will be verified.
- If approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email and your race entry will be confirmed.

Can I participate in Tata Mumbai Marathon (42Km) without a prior timing certificate?
No, Entry to the Tata Mumbai Marathon (42Km) is only against a timing certificate. Please note, the timing certificate will have to be given at the time of registration and cannot be submitted later.
Tata Mumbai Marathon 2027 Confirmation Criteria
Entry to the Marathon race category will be confirmed based on the ‘confirmation criteria’ explained in detail below:
Timings of the only marathon (42.195 km), 25 km distance, and half-marathon (21.097 km) distances conducted at an on-ground event will be considered to qualify for the marathon race category. Timing cut-off across all age groups (as mentioned above) to apply for the marathon category are:

Applicants can submit timing certificates of only those events wherein Race promoters/organizers need to follow the below-mentioned guidelines, for timing certificates of their races to be considered under the confirmation criteria.
The running event must have been conducted within the period of 18 months preceding the race day (17th Jan 2027), i.e., on or after 17th July 2025.
The course must be measured and certified by an AIMS / World Athletics accredited measurer (Grade A or Grade B) using the calibrated bicycle method (Jones Counter or equivalent), in accordance with the standards prescribed in the AIMS / World Athletics publication “The Measurement of Road Race Courses.”
All runners are compulsorily timed using the RFID technology.
In addition to timing mats at the Start and Finish gates, the following minimum split timing mats are mandatory:
- For a full marathon course (42.195 km) – at least 3 split point timing mats.
- For a 25 km course – at least 2 split point timing mats
- For a half marathon course (21.097 km) – at least 2 split point timing mats.
Applicants will get their application confirmation within 10 working days of registration or on or before 9th December 2026, whichever is earlier.

Tata Mumbai Marathon 2027 Registration Fee
For the Tata Mumbai Marathon (42.195 km) category, the published application fee is:
- Domestic applicants: ₹5,000
- International applicants: USD 90
Tata Mumbai Marathon Baggage facility
Marathon participants who wish to avail of the baggage deposit facility on race day must opt for the baggage tag service either during registration or later through their participant profile.
Please note that baggage tags are available in limited numbers and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants who have successfully opted for the baggage facility must collect the official baggage tag issued by Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL) at the Expo.
The bag tag must be securely attached to the bag on race day, and the corresponding claim stub must be retained for baggage collection. Bags without a valid official baggage tag will not be accepted at the baggage deposit counters.
A refundable security deposit of INR 500 per baggage tag will be charged at the time of opting for the service. The deposit will be refunded within 15 working days after race day.
Can I transfer my bib to somebody else or somebody else can run on my bib?
No, it cannot be transferred to somebody else. Race day images of participants will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participants is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event in 2026.
Tata Mumbai Marathon Bib Collection Details
In order to collect running bibs from the PLAYSCAPE – Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2027 Expo (Thursday, 14th January to Saturday, 16th January 2027), this edition participants will need to choose their bib collection time slots.
Confirmed Marathon men and women participants will receive a race day t-shirt respectively, courtesy event’s Sports Goods Partner, ASICS, at the Bib Collection Center within the PLAYSCAPE – Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2027 Expo.
