Safe-A-Thon, a one-of-a-kind movement for Road Safety Awareness. An initiative of Karnataka Transport Department and Bengaluru Traffic Police.

Join Karnataka’s biggest Road Safety Initiative and be a part of the movement to create safer roads. Walk, Run or Cycle with us and promote life-saving habits like wearing helmets, following traffic rules, and respecting pedestrians.

This event will bring together citizens of all age groups, organizations, and officials to spread awareness about responsible road behaviors. By participating, you’ll help create a lasting impact on road safety. Let’s work together to build a future where every journey is safe and every life is valued.

Event Type: Walk/Run/Cycle

Date: Saturday, 7th March 2026

Distance: 5km (Scenic route around Cubbon Park, High Court and Vidhana Soudha)

Reporting Time: Between 5.00 am – 5.45 am (It is advisable to reach early)

Zumba & Warm-up: 6:00 am

Flag off: 6:30 am

Venue: Sri Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru

Registration: Free of cost

Participants will get: T-Shirt, Medal and Breakfast.

(T-Shirts will be distributed between 5.00 – 6.00am)

Hydration: Adequate points on the route to refill your water bottle.

Commuting: Participants are encouraged to use the public transport options (Metro and BMTC) to avoid any inconvenience at Parking. Shuttle service available from the nearest Metro station.

Baggage Counter: Yes.

Attractions: You may witness the street play at some corners along with some fun engagement activities on the stalls. Enjoy excellent warm up session before the flag off.
