MAHETHON 2026 Bengaluru Runs For Earth

The first-ever MAHETHON 2026 is a signature sporting initiative by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru Campus, inspired by the city’s ethos of wellness, community, sustainability, and innovation.

Designed as more than a marathon, it is a movement that positions Bengaluru on the national running map, where every step champions health, belonging and the planet. At its heart, MAHETHON is envisioned as Bengaluru’s biggest running festival. A celebration where sport meets purpose and where thousands come together to promote sustainability on an unprecedented scale. From green pledges and eco-friendly race practices to collaborative impact projects, MAHETHON turns the act of running into a collective step towards a better future.

We request you to share the event information and registration link with your friends and colleagues and participate with thousands of runners and we encourage runners to register early and plan their event training.

The Event Categories:

1) 3K Fun Run – 5+ yrs to 13 yrs and 13+ yrs to 16 yrs (Boys and Girls), 16+ yrs and above (open for all)

2) 5K Run – OPEN: 16+ yrs to 30 yrs; SENIOR: 30+ yrs to 40 yrs; SENIOR+: 40+ yrs to 50 yrs, 50+ yrs to 60 yrs and 60+ yrs and above (Men & Women)

3) 10K Run – OPEN: 16+ yrs to 30 yrs; SENIOR: 30+ yrs to 40 yrs; SENIOR+: 40+ yrs to 50 yrs, 50+ yrs to 60 yrs and 60+ yrs and above (Men & Women)

4) 10K Forces Run (for armed forces, police force etc.) – 18 yrs and above

5) 21.1K Run – OPEN: 16+ yrs to 30 yrs; SENIOR: 30+ yrs to 40 yrs; SENIOR+: 40+ yrs to 50 yrs, 50+ yrs to 60 yrs and 60+ yrs and above (Men & Women)

Registration Fees:

1) 3K Fun Run : Free | Flag-off time is 8:00 am

2) 5K Timed Run : INR 399 | Flag-off time is 7:30 am

3) 10K (Forces Run) : Free | Flag-off time is 6:30 am

4) 10K Timed Run : INR 699 | Flag-off time is 6:30 am

5) 21.1K (Half Marathon): INR 999 | Flag-off time is 6:00 am
